1. Hardwell chose India to launch his “United we are” foundation
When Hardwell chose to launch the “United we are” foundation to promote education for children around the world, he chose India as the launchpad. The event saw footfalls of more than 70000 and took on the word record for World’s biggest guest list. Hardwell didn’t charge for his appearance and the event gathered enough funds to support 18000 impoverished children through the Magic Bus project.

2. Mumbai had inspired Hardwell to give back to the country and the world
In fact the inspiration behind the initiative had come to Hardwell in Mumbai when he was on the way to the “I AM Hardwell” tour venue. He witnessed some homeless kids seeking shelter from rain underneath one of his billboards. 3. He was enthralled with the infectious energy of Indian fans at the I AM Hardwell concert
Hardwell can just go on an on about the massive amount of energy that his “supercrazy” Indian Fans exude. He considers Indian crowd to be a dream crowd for any DJ to play for. In his words
“I knew India was crazy but this is the kinda crowd that kept the energy up for like 3 hours. Every song I played, people started jumping. The crowed is super-educated and really know how to party.”
